Beth El Social Action Presents…
Mental Health Matters
Confronting the stigma and what gets in the
way
With
Dr. Michael Gotlib, PsyD
Wednesday
, January 15, 2025
7:00pm
(following evening minyan)
D
r. Gotlib will be providing an introduction to Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT), an empirically-based form of psychology that uses acceptance and mindfulness strategies to help people move towards meaningful relationships, self-care, and well-being. Through mental flexibility training, we can better determine how we respond to challenge, stress, and the stigma of mental health.
Dr. Michael Gotlib is a staff psychologist at The Center for Emotional Health. He specializes in anxiety disorders, men’s mental health, and psychological flexibility training. In addition to working with individuals, Dr. Gotlib partners with school systems, businesses, and organizations to develop and execute programming to help foster mental well-being in the workplace.
